WOW Conference January 2009

Please come and join us at the Hauke High School Library for an afternoon of inspiring presentations.

What: WOW Let's Go the Distance II Conference
When: Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 4:30pm-6:30pm
Where: Hauke High School Library - 701 N 3rd Street, Conroe, TX 77301

If you would like to present a detailed overview of your WOW lesson plans for the benefit of the group (5-20 minutes), please RSVP and submit a brief (no more than 1/2 page) proposal to Nathan Bennett (nbennett@conroeisd.net). Please include in the proposal the intended target grade, the concepts the project will address (Marzano, TEKS, Jensen, etc.),the duration of the project, which cloudware you are using, and whether your project is theoretical or classroom-tested. Please get these proposals in as quickly as possible - even if your actual presentation isn't completely finalized. If your project is classroom-tested be prepared for a brief question/answer session following your presentation. We anticipate being able to showcase everyone's project at this month's (or next month's?) meeting. The proposal process will allow us to better prepare and publicize this, and future, WOW conferences.
